McLean-Great Falls Spartans Tackle Football
McLean-Great Falls Football Association, Inc., (MGFFA) is the youth tackle football program serving greater McLean-Great Falls, Virginia.
Our program is known as Spartans Football.
We strongly believe that football is more than a sport. Football teaches life skills and promotes team work, discipline, and a strong work ethic that builds players into well-rounded young adults. Football is a team sport that teaches responsibility, how to handle failures and successes, and builds character.
Youth football also builds special friendships among teammates and between their families. There are 11 leaders on every football field. When players work together towards one common goal, it unites them and their families. Football friendships forged on the field of play can be strong and last a lifetime. The camaraderie experienced through football is invaluable to learning how to build relationships.
Youth football lays the foundation for a strong and disciplined work ethic. Our program teaches the skills needed to win football games AND the skills needed for life as a young adult. Challenges and victories are experienced in football and these experiences uniquely build resilient and well-rounded players for football and for the contact sport of life!
We are a 100% volunteer organization made up of dedicated adults who strive to provide our players a professional experience and program. USA Football, the national governing body for amateur football in the United States, certifies our coaches, who have passed a comprehensive background investigation.
